Register for Ohio’s premier professional development event

The 2014 OSBA Capital Conference and Trade Show runs Nov. 9-12 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Registration is now open. Review the 2014 Capital Conference Brochure for more information or download the district registration form.

Registration fees

For OSBA member districts: Registration is $275 per person each of the first six people from your district. Group registration — more than six people — is a flat fee of $1,700. Registration for OSBA sustaining members, government employees and retired administrators is $60. Retired administrators who are current board members or rehired administrators do not qualify for the lower rate. Spouses may attend the conference for free, but must be registered to receive an official badge. Registration for OCSBA members is $275 per person. Those attending the School Law Workshop are subject to the same registration procedures as other conference attendees. Attorneys employed by a school district may register with their district.

How to register

To register for the conference and ticketed events, all attendees from the same district should be listed on the district’s registration form. Return this form to OSBA with a check or purchase order covering all registration fees and special event ticket costs. For those not registered by Thursday, Nov. 6, on-site Capital Conference registration will be open on Sunday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Monday, Nov. 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the center of the Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) Main Concourse.

Ticketed events — Early Bird Workshop, OSBA Black Caucus dinner and Conference Luncheons

The Early Bird Workshop, Conference Luncheons and OSBA Black Caucus dinner are not included in the registration fee and require additional fees. The Early Bird Workshop is $95 and the Conference Luncheons are $55 each. The OSBA Black Caucus dinner is $70. Registration for these events should be purchased in advance. Attendees can register on their district’s registration form.
