Front page stories in The New York Times and Detroit Free Press featured Sidney City’s middle-of-the-road approach to school security and arming teachers. It includes armed and uniformed security officers in all seven buildings and trained first responder teams of educators who have access, via biometric safes, to loaded handguns.
