STEM internships create future leaders

Akron City’s summer research internship program has provided in-person opportunities to strengthen students’ skills, abilities and knowledge of STEM, addressing the loss of hands-on STEM learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn how this program provides authentic STEM experiences, work-based learning and opportunities for leadership while teaching students social and emotional skills.
