Men and women may both be exceptionally educated to lead a school district, but research shows that local school boards choose men as a district’s superintendent by a margin of 5 to 1. The Buckeye Association of School Administrators, Bexley City, Danbury Local (Ottawa) Mercer County ESC and Sylvania City examine why this remains a national and state issue and how it can be addressed.
