Designing sensory spaces for mental health needs

Sensory spaces serve as a safe place where students can work on self-regulating their behavior. Understanding their importance, Clark-Shawnee Local (Clark) and SHP included them in their new building designs. Learn how these spaces allow for both passive and active interaction where students can decrease sensory overload or increase their energy as needed.
