Integrating therapy dogs into the curriculum
4:00 PM | Monday, Nov 14 | Room: B 242-243
Therapy dogs receive extensive training for both the dog and handler. Used properly, the dogs can help anxious youth better cope with stress, grief and loss. Hear how documenting the use of therapy animals as part of services to students and staff can protect the animal, its handler and the district from potential loss. Ohio School Plan is endorsed by OSBA, BASA and OASBO.
