All attendees from the same school district should be registered by a district designee. OCSBA members who are registering individually can register online as well. OCSBA members registering as a firm, in addition to students, sustaining members, government employees and retired administrators, should contact Susie Cinadr at scinadr@ohioschoolboards.org to register. Treasurers: Review the following resources for assistance with the registration process:

Districts can submit a purchase order at the time of registration covering all registration fees. Districts will be invoiced following the event.

You can preregister for the conference through Thursday, Nov. 9. You can also register on-site during the conference.

Registration fees

For OSBA member districts: Registration is $350 per person each of the first six people from your district. School district group registration — more than six people from a member school district — is a flat fee of $2,400. Registration for OSBA sustaining members, government employees and retired administrators is $100. Retired administrators who are current board members or rehired administrators do not qualify for the lower rate. Spouses may attend the conference for free, but must be registered to receive an official badge.

Registration for OCSBA members is $350 per person. Those attending the School Law Workshop are subject to the same registration procedures as other conference attendees. Attorneys employed by a school district may register with their district.

Ticketed events — OSBA Black Caucus Dinner and Monday Conference Luncheon with Sam Glenn

The OSBA Black Caucus Dinner and Monday Conference Luncheon with Sam Glenn are ticketed events and are not included as part of conference registration. The deadline to register for these ticketed events is noon on Monday, Oct. 23. If a cancellation is required for a ticketed event, it must be requested by Oct. 23 to receive a refund.

Delegates

Each member board of education shall be entitled to appoint one of its members as a delegate to the annual business meeting, or other called meeting, with power to vote. These appointees comprise the body known as the OSBA Delegate Assembly and must be present to vote. Districts can indicate their delegates and alternates on their district rosters by logging into www.ohioschoolboards.org and clicking “My Account.” Next, hover over your district box and click “Edit Roster.”
